Motivated by rage and a desire for change, panicbaby creates music for sensitive souls who need to distance themselves from the world in order to find who they are. The Berlin-based artist blends modern art pop, presented in a cinematic style, with an experimental edge, playfully striking a balance between captivating, hook-filled melodies and unexpected twists. Her debut EP ‘F U Jonathan’ (2026) came out at the start of the year, racking up tens of millions of streams across all platforms in just a few weeks. The exquisite songwriting of a Lana Del Rey meets the oceanic melodies of Lykke Li and an idiosyncratically dreamy soundscape that wants to tell a story. This is the soundtrack to an era of confusion, to the paradoxes of being human, to broken relationships – but also to a resetting of expectations.
