Her debut EP, “When A Girl Cries” (2025), had barely been out for a month when Olga Myko began racking up tens of millions of streams on the relevant platforms. Its lead single, “use me!!!!!!”, went viral on day one, demonstrating that there are no limits for contemporary female artists of this calibre. The Swedish–Ukrainian singer captures the sound of an entire generation, blending alt-pop, futuristic R&B, and sensual trap beats whilst simultaneously establishing herself as a multifaceted songwriter without a fixed sonic style. She makes playful use of AutoTune, celebrating wistful melodies and a rich, no-frills production. Subsequent singles such as “TV” and “Who’s That Calling?” (2026) also quickly found their way onto international playlists and were celebrated even beyond the Swedish music press. Slowly but surely, other publications on the European mainland are realising that a genuine young talent is currently enjoying an unstoppable rise and was quite rightly nominated for Best Alternative Pop at the Swedish Grammys. Now, barely a year later, she’s already releasing her second EP, “How dare you tryna love me?” (2026), and will be celebrating its premiere here in Hamburg to coincide with the release.
