Her father jotting down a few chords on a piece of paper for her to practise marked the beginnings of Chelsea Knight’s artistic passion and career. Since then, the Australian singer-songwriter hasn’t stopped refining her guitar skills, shaping her vocals with even greater expressiveness and developing her musical style. This comes through in every track on her recently released debut EP “Biting Heels” (2026), as well as in her live performances, which saw her playing to audiences in Melbourne and Sydney last year. Shortly afterwards, she supported the legendary Garbage on their sold-out tour of Australia and New Zealand. Armed with this wealth of new live experience and a load of fresh material under her belt, she’s coming to Hamburg for the first time this year.
