Back in March 1983, Redgum, headed up by John Schumann, recorded one of the most iconic and successful Australian live albums, “Caught in the Act”. Capturing the quintessentially Australian Redgum songs, the album highlighted John Schumann as one of the best frontmen in the country.

Fast forward to 2023, John’s band, the Vagabond Crew, persuaded him that they could perform a concert set of those songs called “The Redgum Years”. Sold-out performances across right Australia prove them right and whipped up great demand for another are live record.

In August 2025, John and the boys recorded Corrugated Highway - The Redgum Years Live and finally brought The Redgum Years to Perth in November 2025. It was a triumph!

Now John and the Crew are back in WA with one last performance of The Redgum Years. “Call it The Last Corrugation,” John said. With updated lyrics reflect our comprehensively mad world. Gina, Pauline and Murdoch’s playmates won’t like it. Too bad.
