Starting with an exercise called River of Words, which I learned from angela snæfellsjökuls rawlings, our next session will explore how text, voice, and sound can come together in literary experimentation.
Please bring a text you would like to share. We will also create new work together during the writing exercises.
If you have a recording device or a small instrument, please bring it with you.
The session will be hosted by Ewa Marcinek, author and cultural organiser.
The session will be held in English, with optional support in Icelandic and Polish. All languages are welcome!

Ritrými í Reykjavík / Reykjavík in Writing is a community-driven writing workshop series hosted at MENGI. The workshops are multilingual and admission is free. Together, we will explore creativity, poetry, publishing, multilingual writing, and more through shared practice, conversation, and guest-led sessions.
Writers of all backgrounds and experience levels are welcome.
Ritrými í Reykjavík is co-founded by Reykjavík UNESCO City of Literature and ALO Ísland, a non-profit organisation working in community learning, and delivered with love in collaboration with RVK Poetics and Ós Pressan.
