Being an Immigrant in Iceland is Funnier Than You Think
Belonging? is a new event-series that successfully debuted at Kjallarinn last spring, in collaboration with R.E.C Arts Reykjavík. After selling out shows in Tjarnarbíó and Salurinn, this critically acclaimed show has found a new home on the iconic Kjallarinn stage. Belonging? offers guests a fusion of stand-up comedy and other variety acts, including dance, music and more from a diverse group of performers. The show features immigrant comedians with a rotating cast (and some surprise Icelandic guest performers) doing stand-up in English and sharing the funny sides of being a foreigner in Iceland. All four shows over the theater season ask the same question, "can we ever really belong on this island?"
