  Thomas Buttenschøn is a Danish alternative singer/songwriter who made his debut in 2006 with the hit single

  His musical style is diverse, ranging from pop and rock to jazz and blues, and he generally performs live with a full band in which he plays guitar and sings. His music reflects his youth and an indie mentality, the latter in spite of his commercial success. Born on March 22, 1985, in Zambia, a country in southern Africa, Buttenschøn was raised in Jutland, Denmark. At 21 years old he released his debut single,

  on the independent label Noob Factory. The song became a hit single and was followed later in the year by the full-length album

  which reached number 12 on the Danish albums chart.
