The five-piece band transforms observations on the status quo in Germany into catchy tunes that can move you to tears or accompany a day at the lake—depending on your mood. The band weaves clever, multi-layered lyrics into dialogues of jangly guitars and the unerring use of various synthesizers, which send shivers down your spine every second. Studio albums like “KIOSK” (2023) or “Eigentlich perfekt” (2025) not only offer top-notch songwriting that blends indie rock, dance-punk, and catchy sing-along hooks—if you listen closely, you’ll also find more than enough food for thought. Songs like “Keine Liebe für Nazis” or “Italien” (2026) tackle various contemporary issues and problems that demand uncomfortable answers. They’re not just laced with original references ranging from Die Ärzte to Haller.
